The 21-year-old was delighted to return to action for Jose Mourinho's men after recovering from an injury he picked up in the Champions League in September
Luke Shaw returned to the pitch for the first time in 10 months as Manchester United eased to a 2-0 victory over Wigan Athletic in a pre-season friendly on Saturday.
The defender has been out since suffering a double fracture of his right leg in a Champions League clash against PSV last September and played the first-half against the Championship side.
And judging by his tweets, the 21-year-old was clearly delighted to be back in action.
